Club Type Taxonomy

Our platform normalizes club names into the following canonical types. Map your club identifiers to these strings where possible. Unknown or unmapped clubs can be passed as-is — we will surface them as UNKNOWN in the UI and work with you to add mappings.

Loft-based & brand-specific identifiers

If your system uses loft-based identifiers (e.g., "52°"), strip the degree symbol and pass the numeric string ("52"). If your system uses brand-specific names (e.g., "Titleist Vokey SM9 56°"), pass the loft as the clubType and include the full name in a separate clubModel field.
